OFD Offshore Project list
Walter Oil & Gas Company Coelacanth Structural Design

OFD performed the detailed design of the Coelacanth EW 834 deck and jacket (1186 ft water depth), including all global and detailed structural engineering and drafting work. OFD also provided construction support and project management through fabrication and installation phases of both the deck and jacket, the third deepest fixed platform in the world.

Newfield Exploration, Lu Feng 7-2, South China Sea

OFD provided engineering assistance for the float-over installation of the 12,700 metric ton topsides. OFD was awarded the project after the jacket had sustained severe damage during installation. OFD provided detailed analytical assessments of the structure including strength and fatigue. OFD provided jacket repair requirements and performed float-over engineering.
West Delta Block 143C Structural Design

OFD performed the detailed design of the West Delta 143C deck and jacket (373. water depth), including all global analysis and 3D modeling. OFD's scope included the complete jacket design, primary deck structure design, bridge-connection to B platform, and all regulatory coordination. OFD also provided construction support through fabrication and installation of both the jacket and deck.
Noble Energy Tamar Development, Mediterranean Sea

OFD performed the detailed design of the Tamar jacket (783. water depth), including all global and detailed structural engineering and drafting work. The jacket was designed to support the 17,000-ton production platform which receives gas from subsea wells, processes the gas, and delivers it by pipeline to the Israeli market. OFD also provided construction support through fabrication and installation phases.
Castor Underground Gas Storage Facility

OFD performed the detailed design and engineering of this bridge-connected two-platform complex in the western Mediterranean Sea, offshore Spain. The project included a Wellhead Platform and Production Platform for underground gas storage. The facility included compression systems for gas injection, and a production system with high-spec metallurgy for gas withdrawal. The facility was designed for a peak flowrate of 880 MMSCFD.
Helix Energy Solutions Producer I FPU

OFD completed the detailed design, engineering, and procurement services for the topsides production facilities of the HP-I Floating Production Unit (FPU). The first ship-shaped FPU in the Gulf of Mexico. The dynamically positioned HP-I is designed to weather-vane around a side-mounted swivel assembly with a disconnectable riser buoy. OFD designed the topsides production modules and deck-mounted production equipment, including all topsides support systems.
